Raw Water Line Repair Project

The City of Benicia’s Public Works Department is seeking an underground construction company to help with the excavation of the City’s Raw Water Line, and installation of a full-circle pipe clamp to affect repairs on a leaking section of the pipe. The pipe is 24-inch diameter steel and is encased in concrete. It is estimated to be 8 feet deep and is located in undeveloped open space in Fairfield, CA. The City of Benicia will provide the contractor with a repair clamp to complete the repair work to the Raw Water Line. Work shall be completed within 14 days from the date the Notice of Proceed is issued. The estimated cost of construction for the project is $20,000.
